William Harvey

William Harvey is President - Mining Division at Toromont CAT.

He joined the Caterpillar dealership in Quebec, Hewitt Cat, in 2001, and has since held several commercial, 6 Sigma and operational roles. In 2010, he was promoted to General Manager for the Mining Division, then in 2012 to the position of Vice President, Product Support. In 2015, he was appointed Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing. In 2017, following the acquisition of Hewitt Cat by Toromont Industries Ltd., he successfully led the integration of the Quebec-based Construction operations prior to being appointed to his current role.

William holds more than 25 years of industry experience in the Mining and Construction industries, developing Customer-centric marketing strategies, driving culture change and growth, achieving Health and Safety targets, as well as in leading process improvement initiatives using 6 Sigma methodology.

William is also a Member of the Board of Advisors at Proceco Ltd., an integrated supplier of integrated cleaning systems for automotive, aerospace, general manufacturing, and rail & transit industries worldwide.

William holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from Les Hautes Études Commerciales – Montréal.

Dany Bélanger

Dany is Vice-President of Operations Services at Telecon Canada.

His 29 years of experience in various aspects of the heavy equipment industry and mining and finance sectors, enabled him to establish himself in all that pertains to operations, strategic planning, business development, and mandates involving asset risk management and organizational restructuring. Recognized by his peers as being customer centric and a results-oriented champion of change, Dany strives and is committed to meeting shareholders’ needs for return on investment and to creating an open, diversified and modern workplace for all to thrive within.

For over 20 years, Dany has been active in the CIM business community at the branch and national level, and joined the CIM National Board in 2019 as Vice-President of the Eastern District. Dany is a passionate fan of motor sports and, for a period of nine years, was part of the Canadian Technical Inspection Group of the Canadian Grand Prix for the FIA Formula One. He enjoys downhill skiing, golf and reading books, especially on business finance and geopolitical affairs. He recently achieved a personal milestone by completing a Spartan race with his work teammates.

Dany Bélanger is a graduate from Concordia University, class of 1990, with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a minor in Business Administration. Dany is married to Lisa Bédard, psychologist, and has two children, Emilie is a McGill University graduate and Jordan is currently studying in Mechanical Engineering.
