EXPO

  • Who's exhibiting?

    Click "Show All" on the top-left drop-down menu to see all exhibitors, and use the arrows at the bottom to navigate through the list.

  • What are the dates and opening hours of The EXPO?

    The EXPO will be open at the following:

    Date Hours
    Sunday, May 1 17:00-20:00
    Monday, May 2 10:00-17:00
    Tuesday, May 3 10:00-17:00
  • What’s included in my booth?

    The standard ($33/sq.ft) only includes the space (pipe & drape). To order services and furniture, please refer to the Exhibitor Services page.

  • When can I move in?

    The move-in schedule will be available soon, and will be posted on the Exhibitor Services page.

  • When can I start the teardown?
    add_circle_outline

    You can start tearing down on Tuesday after 5:00 PM. You will have to be done by Wednesday at noon.

  • Do you have an exhibitor’s manual?

    Yes. You can find it here.

 

Registration

  • What’s the difference between a delegate registration and a visitor registration besides the price?

    The delegate registration gives you access to all the technical presentations, the lunch(es), reception(s), as well as The EXPO. The Visitor registration only gives you access to The EXPO.

  • What’s the difference between a regular delegate registration and a business class registration?
    add_circle_outline

    The business class registration has all the benefits of the delegate registration, plus access to the Business Centre. The Business Centre will have computers and internet connections for laptops and printers. Small meeting rooms and refreshments will also be available.

  • How do I become a national member in order to get the CIM member registration rate?

    You can purchase your membership here. If you have any questions regarding membership, do not hesitate to contact membership@cim.org

  • My company is a corporate member. Do I get access to the CIM member registration rate?

    Only the corporate representative will have access to the CIM member registration rate.

  • I am a CIM branch member. Do I get access to the CIM member registration rate?

    Only CIM National Members get the member registration rate. If you are a CIM Branch Member, please register as a non-member, and you will receive a one year membership to CIM National.

  • Can I request a Letter of Invitation?

    Letters of invitation are only available through registration. To get a letter, register as a full delegate to the conference. A link will be sent through email confirmation, once payment has been processed.

Social Program

  • What is the dress code for the CIM-Caterpillar Awards Gala event?

    The dress code for this event is business formal.

  • What is the dress code for the Komatsu Celebration?
    add_circle_outline

    You can dress more casually for this event.

  • The Komatsu Celebration is not included in my registration. Can I purchase a ticket?

    Unfortunately, we do not sell tickets for this event. If you want to attend this event, please make sure you are choosing the right registration type.

  • How do I purchase a table for the CIM-Caterpillar Awards Gala?

    You can purchase a table when registering online for the convention. The event is listed under social activities. Simply select 8 seats to form a complete table, and complete your registration.

Technical Program

  • How do I submit an abstract?

    Unfortunately, the call for abstracts is now close. 

  • When do you publish your preliminary program?
    add_circle_outline

    The preliminary program will be made available in the February issue of the CIM Magazine. The digital version will also be made available on the website.

  • How do I access the full technical program schedule?

    The full technical program schedule is not yet available. It will be published under the Program tab on this website.

  • How do I reserve my hotel room within the CIM room blocks, and benefit from group pricing?

  • Did you mandate a housing bureau to call us and reserve our hotel rooms?

    We did not mandate anyone or any organization to call you to reserve your hotel. Please be careful when giving out your information over the phone or over email. When in doubt, please contact us. Our housing bureau is ConferenceDirect.

  • Do you have an official housing bureau?

    Yes, our official housing bureau is ConferenceDirect.

WE’RE READY TO WELCOME YOU BACK SAFELY!

As part of BC's Restart, the Vancouver Convention Centre is now welcoming back clients, guests, and the community for safe events and gatherings. We have worked hard throughout the pandemic to make sure that our team is ready and our facility is equipped so that you can feel confident when you walk through our doors. As of April 8, 2022, proof of vaccination will no longer be required. As of now, face masks are encouraged, but no longer required to be worn in public spaces.
