Poster Competition

Students have the opportunity to showcase their talents to industry leaders on a wide range of topics. Put your best foot forward and submit an abstract online before March 1, 2018, on topics ranging from geology and mining to processing and sustainability. Poster boards will be located in the foyer of Level 100 near the technical rooms.

Poster Area
Poster presentations will be held in The EXPO, Exhibit Halls BC at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Presentation Time
Poster presentations will follow the trade show hours:

It is not compulsory to attend to your poster full time. However, poster presenters are expected to stand in front of their posters during the Monday and Tuesday coffee breaks and luncheons. There will be no audio-visual equipment for the Poster Session.

Guidelines
All posters must be written in bilingual (French & English) or in English. Poster presentations must include paper title, author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s), abstract, introduction, experimental procedure, results and discussion, conclusion, references, acknowledgments and contact person.

There is no need to upload a PowerPoint presentation of your poster.

Max size (horizontal):

• 2,305 m wide (90.75”)
• 1,136 m high (44.75”)

Please bring Velcro sticky dots to mount your poster (poster boards are Velcro receptive)

Installation and Removal

Poster presenters are responsible for mounting and removing their posters. Posters that are not removed will be discarded. The committee assumes no responsibility for damaged or lost artwork.
